Q: What is the warranty period?
A: Decca Furniture warrants to the original purchaser all products manufactured to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the invoice. This warranty applies to all products sold and installed by Decca. Fabric, leather and textile panels are excluded. Decca will repair, or at its discretion, replace defective merchandise - free of charge. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse or from improper user modification.
Prior to a warranty claim being filed, or repairs/replacements are implemented, factory approval is required.
Q: Do you accept payments by card?
A: No. We accept payments only by bank transfer or by check.
Question: What type of veneer is used?
Answer: Decca products feature hand-selected grade architectural veneers that are available in numerous species and can be applied in various patterns. FSC veneers are available.
Q: What type of drawer glides are used?
A: Decca products feature full-extension, soft closing, side-mounted, bottom-mounted, high precision and ball bearing drawer glides.
Q: What does “EV” and “V” mean?
A: “EV” means engineered veneer (also called sustainable veneer) and “V” means real veneer.
Reengineered veneer is recomposed veneer, it is less expensive and more ecologic than real veneer, however it doesn’t have the same appearance of the real veneer, which is more even. We recommend real veneer to our client.
Q: Can we change the finish and size for the standard items of Decca Home collection?
A: Yes, we can change the veneer, finish, sheen level, size, design and hardware of all furniture. An upcharge is applicable, to be assessed by the factory. Please contact us for an estimate.

Q: How do I take care of my product? (cleaning and maintenance)
A: Dust occasionally with a soft cloth that has been slightly dampen with water. Do not use any cleaning products that contain petroleum based ingredients. Level the product annually, adjust hinges and pulls if required.
Q: What type of top coat is used?
A: Decca uses both trademarked polyurethane (PU) and (PE) polyester top coat.
Q: Can I order replacement hardware?
A: Depending on the date of your order, it may be possible to supply replacement hardware. Please send us an email with specific details.
Q: What is burnished bronze?
A: This is a brass sheet oxidized then brushed by hand, it might be light or dark depending on the level of oxidation, then finished with more or less brushed effect and matt to glossy sheen level.
Q: What is PVD finish?
A: PVD (or Physical Vapor Deposition) is an alternative coating process on Stainless steel, which provides harder and more corrosion resistant coatings than electroplating process and also more environment-friendly. It can be
tinted, then polished (miror effect) or brushed (hairline effect).
Q: What is silver/gold Leaf finish?
A: The silver and gold leaf is applied on a steel frame, then there are various options for applying a degree of patina or distressing effect.
Q: What is powder coated finish?
A: This is applied on a steel or aluminium frame and offers a durable finish that can be glossy or matt. There is a variety of standard colors to choose from (white, black, bronze, taupe, silver and gun metal) and possibility of custom colors as well .
Q: What is the best upholstery direction?
A: The Right-way direction upholstery is used unless otherwise specified. Right-way upholstery direction is vertically applied to a piece. However this can cause seam lines due to the width constraint of 1370mm. Railroaded upholstery direction is horizontally applied to a piece, usually sofas that are wider than 1370mm.
Q: What does “COM” and “COL” mean?
A: The acronym “COM” stands for “Customer’s Own Material”, while “COL” stands for “Customer’s Own Leather”. It means that the client is providing the fabric or leather for upholstery items.
Q: Why are there 2 prices for the upholstery items?
A: Line 1 is the price in COM: upholstered in fabric (fabric not included).
Line 2 is the price in COL: upholstered in leather (leather not included).

A: Decca recommends that you file a freight claim with the carrier immediately upon the notation observation of damage and that you take good quality pictures of the damaged areas as well as visible damages on the carton box or wood crate.
Q: What type of packaging do you use?
A: All our furniture is wrapped with soft foam and packed in high grade, recycled cardboard boxes. Heavy items are placed on wood pallets. Possibility of packing furniture in wood crates and double carton box packing upon request (upcharge applicable).
