Decca has a long standing tradition of caring for people and our natural environment, instituting sustainable practices as early as the 1980's. We are proud of the commitment we made to promote a healthy, sustainable environment and we regard our environmental agenda as essential to our role not only as an industry leader but also as a citizen of the world. As Decca emerged in the global marketplace, we also moved forward to become a truly sustainable corporation dedicated to economic, environmental and social equity.
On 13 January 2009, we proudly announce that Decca became the first Asian based manufacturer to receive Greenguard certification for our office furniture and hospitality furniture products. Decca's products have been tested for their chemical emissions performance and are now Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified as low emitting furnishings. This achievement assures customers that Decca products can contribute to fulfill the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating system and the Green Building Initiative's Green Globes rating system.
Decca is also capable to produce FSC certified products, offering an advantage to those customers who seek a responsible manufacturing partner to help reach their own sustainable goals.
