Our Process and Services

  • 1. Price Estimation

    Our furniture collections' prices are available upon request, but these should be considered indicative as we price on a project basis. For bespoke projects, our centralised estimation department calculates prices based on materials, quantities, and the complexity of the pieces. We can give quotes in various currencies, so please let us know your preference. We will, as a matter of course, also request prices for alternative finishes, which can then be included as price options in the initial quotation you receive.

  • 2. Design & Architectural Support

    Once a project goes ahead, we'll provide detailed shop drawings for approval. Our CAD department can also provide 3D renders upon request. During the development process, we can revise the drawings as needed, with the CAD department delivering revised drawings overnight. If you want specific details, we can add them. Our technicians and project managers in the factory work with our local project managers to ensure viable solutions. Our manufacturing process experience ensures efficient solutions to any production problems that may show up.

  • 3. Finish Development

    We offer a wide range of standard finishes and can develop custom finishes with designers. We also have a vast selection of materials, and our purchasing department can source specific finishes or hardware tailored to your needs.

  • 4. Production Project Management

    We offer comprehensive project management, including a timeline of key dates, a finish and fabric schedule, and coordination with other project stakeholders like fabric and leather editors, component vendors, other material manufacturers (i.e. stone, mirror, glass), and installation teams.

  • 5. Lead-times

    Our standard items are made to order in eight weeks, while custom and fully bespoke pieces take thirteen weeks. We can accelerate production times for a percentage upcharge, but the quickest time depends on complexity, materials, and factory workload. For larger orders that require only some of the pieces on first install, we can split shipments. UK or France shipping typically takes four to five weeks. Therefore, the lead time for standard is about thirteen weeks, and for custom or bespoke is seventeen weeks.

  • 6. Freight & Shipping

    Decca uses road, sea container, and air freight for shipping. Most orders are shipped to either the U K or France, which takes four to five weeks. We can ship to any port worldwide. Our logistics department helps with shipping costs for dedicated or LCL containers and liaises with freight forwarders, handling all necessary paperwork. Our furniture is wrapped in soft foam and packed in high-grade, recycled cardboard boxes. Heavy items are placed on wood pallets. For items that will be forwarded on, we pack them in wood crates and use double carton box packing to prevent any transit damage.

  • 7. Logistics & White glove installation

    Working with our own central logistics department, we ship all orders to our London and Paris warehouses and
    coordinate logistics from ex-factory to site delivery. We have a dedicated client storage service with a full inventory per client in the warehouse. We offer 2 weeks free storage upon arrival and can store items longer if installation is delayed. We also provide logistic flexibility and various delivery options, including client pickup, street delivery, and installation services from simple to white glove, which includes packaging removal and disposal.

In January 2009, we proudly announced that Decca was the first Asian-based manufacturer to receive the GREENGUARD® certification for our office and hospitality furniture. Decca's products have been tested for chemical emissions and are now Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified as low-emitting furnishings. This achievement assures customers that Decca's products can contribute points to the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED and the Green Building Initiative's Green Globes rating systems.
