Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour launch East Meets West, a new exhibition from 2 until 11 November 2017, in association with Asian Art in London.

For centuries, Eastern style has caught the imagination of the West. The East Meets West exhibition takes visitors on a journey revealing how it still casts an influence today, showcasing treasures from contemporary Asian artists juxtaposed with rare antique artifacts from the past.

Join designers John Abbate and Michael Veal for an inspirational discussion on what sets handmade products apart and discover why they are so relevant and desirable today.

Always in love with indigo, John rediscovered an ancient technique of indigo and brought it to the 'west' for other 'indigoists' to appreciate.  Hand made from beginning to end, the product is timeless and beautiful.

Michael is a founder of Michael Veal Design, a boutique agency, providing refined and bespoke interiors and furniture design.
